Mule Deer Alberta

Southwestern Alberta is known to produce thick bodied heavy horned Mule deer every year. This personal 2x1 hunting adventure takes place on large tracks of private land that the outfitter has been hunting for many years. The grassy rolling hills and brushy draws are perfect habitat for growing bucks ranging 160"-190". The home style lodge is located in the heart of the hunting area which allows for easy access to the hunting grounds. Hunting is done by using 4wd vehicles to glass and cover the terrain but a final stalk will be used to close the distance.

The outfitter limits each six day hunt to only two hunters, but can make arrangements for larger groups if needed. This area steadily produces high success rates for heavyweight bucks pushing 350 lbs. The firearm hunts takes place during all stages of the rut from late October to the end of November. The early archery only hunts are conducted from early September through early October where you will be stalking small bachelor groups of bucks.
